Rigg supplied numerous items of furniture for a new co-working space in Lincoln. The fit-out which incorporated 2 floors of a prominent, refurbished office space in the city centre included mostly Rigg-made furniture.
The workspace included various zones such as a social/collaboration/relaxation, shared work desks and conference rooms.
Specific product examples included round meeting tables with solid wood tops. Disc and Wire models were both used. The timber tops were finished with a smooth but characterful, raw style. Surfaces were sealed for durability. The geometric design of the Wire model added a crisp, contemporary edge to the comfortable ambience.
The versatile Trail range featured widely in the scheme being used for large banks of shared desking with power & data and also as high touchdown tables. The strong, slim legs of this design allow the floor covering to visually flow through. HPL on high quality birch plywood was used for the desk tops.
A fun but useful element of this facility was provided in the form of big, specially-shaped and curved bench. This informal item was manufactured using Rigg CNC machinery at the Birmingham factory. Complementary elliptical tables were similarly made and dispersed throughout the upper level. Some of these items were built around or associated with the building columns.
