Furniture and equipment installed in a well thought through office fit-out must be of a good quality both in terms of materials and design. An often overlooked material, OSB, was used in this installation as it:
- enabled a robust multi-functional unit to be constructed, whilst
- having a self-decorative surface of real pieces of timber
Storage, even in modern offices, can be a boring affair. The intriguing wood aesthetic combined with the integrated seating of this modular unit make for an appealing user experience.
The shelving offers practical, easily-accessed storage for frequently used items. Green plants arranged to be viewed through the various apertures and "portholes" add to the feel of a healthy workplace.
Rigg is able to make products such as this thanks to extensive in-house skills and equipment such as a large computer controlled "CNC" wood machining centre. Modules and components of cupboards and tables can be accurately and efficiently produced in small or large quantities to exacting standards. The benefit to the client is high quality, reliability and competitive value.
