Rigg manufactured furniture for a fit-out at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Synk dining table and bench sets were supplied. A distinctive colour choice was made of black stained legs and Egger Grey Santa Fe Oak top. This is a durable and attractive wood design surface.
Other areas of the Llandaff Campus Gallery Cafe had a mixture of large 6 and 8 seater models.
The spacious interior design with mezzanine floor was perfect for this college hub. The layout is perfect taking a break or ad-hoc studying whilst looking out of the windows to the garden outside.
The Synk model is entirely manufactured by Rigg at its own factory in the UK. The angled legs provide strong support whilst not appearing too aesthetically “heavy”. The substantial top is finished with a high quality laminate which is both hard wearing and easy to clean.
In addition to regimented rows, the alternative grouped table layout created an informal modern feel.
