Project Summary
The University of Birmingham required robust, attractive furniture for a large student restaurant serving high volumes of students throughout the day. The objective was to create a flexible dining environment that would support eating, studying and socialising while withstanding intensive daily use.
The Solution
A combination of high tables, stools and café tables was supplied to maximise seating capacity and create a variety of dining spaces. Communal high tables with wood tops were paired with durable metal-framed stools, while café tables with X-base and T-shaped leg designs provided comfortable seating for smaller groups.
Manufactured for commercial use, the furniture offers excellent durability, easy maintenance and a contemporary appearance that complements the modern campus setting.
The Result
The finished restaurant provides students with a welcoming and versatile dining space, featuring a mix of communal and individual seating options. The furniture successfully combines style, practicality and long-term performance, helping to enhance the student experience at one of the UK's leading universities.
