This case study features the installation of furniture in a workplace rest area. A variety of pieces were installed from our models, with the common theme of a zinc and "raw" aesthetic. The heritage wooden flooring of this office complemented the items supplied by Rigg.
From the a-frame Modela range matching rectangular large table and bench sets provided lots of space for colleagues to sit at during break times. The main surfaces were metal whilst the seating benches had solid oak tops, clear lacquered. The thick steel legs gave a substantial feeling, in-keeping with the ex-industrial style space.
A number of Stance round dining tables were accompanied by chairs. The finishes used were similar to above but the base material was birch plywood. This is not only strong but also gives a decorative striped edge.
High touchdown bar areas with stools added extra capacity to this workspace fit-out. They were attached to the wall and supported by adjustable legs.
This project was interesting to work on thanks to the blend of materials covering wood and metallic.
