Our large LOOP Wood and Metal Conference Table has the "industrial" or "raw" combination of solid wood and metal, highly popular in contemporary fit-outs
The table top shown here is solid oak, clear lacquered. A different aesthetic can be achieved by opting for birch plywood, with or without a laminate surface. The framework is of heavy duty welded and bolted construction, as you'd expect for a substantial table. The legs are 60x30mm or 80x40mm, depending on overall dimensions.
Selection of appropriate products should be a high priority. Usually, at the heart of the room is a big conference table such as in this office case study example. This is large enough to accommodate a significant number of staff with additional room for occasional visitors or consultants.
Workplace meetings can be protracted affairs, so allow sufficient room for each chair and the occupant to be comfortable. We show here a 3600x1600mm, 14-seater but smaller 12 person and much larger specifications can be manufactured to your specification.
What equipment will be needed? Consider IT facilities, ventilation and somewhere to put refreshments. The table will usually incorporate cable management features. The model shown here has hinged flaps allowing convenient access to sockets for connection of laptops, for example. The small doors are finished in matching timber but solid colour is available too.
