Rigg has years of experience in making furniture for cafes, restaurants, pubs etc. Whether for a one off independent coffee shop or for a large pub operator, we are confident we can help.
Durable and robust - whether a small bistro model or a larger table and bench set - our products will give years of trouble free service.
Since we make items in our factory rather than import we are able to construct just the right items which are appropriate for a large range of venues. This includes laid back, fun student bars to more formal office canteens.
Complimentary pieces such as reception desks and counters can be supplied to suit the environment, including bespoke features. For example, take a look at the New River Leisure Centre case study which featured a variety of items including the tables, chairs, counter and working surfaces.
Large and small volumes can be catered for. For example, Loungers pub group have numerous units containing our trusty tubular "old school stool".

Made for Contract Use
Our products are made with commercial use in mind: Durable surfaces, strong structures and practical features.
Wood
A traditional material for tables tops and other elements, boasting character and longevity. Rigg offers a variety of species and finishes such as clear lacquered oak, character finish pine, walnut, sapele, ash plus many more.
Laminates/ HPL
High pressure laminate (HPL) is used to create long lasting, low maintenance surfaces. Popular brand names include Formica, Egger and Fenix. Rigg often combines this material with birch plywood to give a fresh contemporary look. Many colours and other decors are available. For example, a number are used as zinc replacements. Other materials can be simulated such as rusty metal, concrete and patinated copper.
Metals
Copper, zinc and brass are sometimes selected but beware that these materials will mark from food and drink to develop a patina. If this effect is undesirable a modern laminate is often chosen instead. This gives much of the look with much easier maintenance and cleaning. If 100% authenticity is needed then the real material is the only way to go.
