For many projects, furniture of regular shapes such as rectangular and round is ideally suited. However there are circumstances when something more specific is needed.
Solutions can be based on existing designs such as Loop and Quad or a custom design.
Workplaces often require this approach for creating low level reception desks or for staff with special arrangements. The latter can be for accomodating equipment for example.
L Shaped Desks
This form is ideal for fitting into a corner so that the unit runs against a wall or window. This can make good use of floor area if the user doesn't mind facing away from the centre of the room. Alternatively, the L shape can be placed so that an area can be separated. This is typically then used as a place to welcome visitors or as an information point, for example.
T Form Tables
A development from the idea above is to add an extra "wing" or "arm". This can be perfect for when 2 colleagues need to share a resource such as a printer or filing system. A further possibility is when 2 senior people such as directors need to frequently discuss matters. They can use the centre common area hold small discussions and then return to their own desk easily.
Bespoke Shapes
Examples include wedge, tapering and quadrilateral. Using our CNC manufacturing equipment we can cut out almost any shape from plywood or other materials such as solid wood.
Modesty Panels
Both of the above designs can include a modesty panel. This is ideal for when there is frequent traffic and a fully open framework and legs would be less desirable.
