2019 has seen Rigg exhibiting at Clerkenwell Design Week again. We appeared in Project B which is situated in the attractive and interesting St James' Churchyard. Interesting features abound from The Crypt to the odd gravestone here and there. All quite normal at an office furniture exhibition! Slightly further afield there are plenty grand and modest old buildings of interest such as Francis Polden which caught our eye.
At CDW19 we showed a selection of items suitable for workspaces and education such as schools and colleges.
Products featured included:
Trak high plywood table suitable for standing working and with stools in an office caffetteria or touchdown point.
Meet coworking table with a thick birch plywood racetrack top. This incorporated semicircular power and data covers.
Synk modular table demonstrating flexible allocation of space. One end had a workstation setup (with opposing hot desk area) and the other end had a collaboration / breakout area with matching bench. The framework was stained black, showing how high quality plywood can be presented in a variety of ways. Desk accessories included an accoustic screen, power outlets by OE Electrics. and a monitor arm. The central cable management channel is an in-built part of this system. Drop-in covers are made in-house at Rigg.
Solid wood is sometimes ignored in commercial schemes so we showed how striking our walnut Trail meeting table and bench set can look. The vivid yellow seating and white framework bring this timber species up to date.
Finally, we showed our Flexx office and educational shelving storage family.
We will be at 100% Design 2019, so be sure to drop-by and say hello.
