An old school table made from original rostrum. This old school table is even still marked underneath.
This is the first of a set of four which we have "refurbished".
They appear to have come out of a school, probably St Teressa's in Birmingham.
In between the structural supports underneath there is still the word "Kitchen" chalked onto the wood.
There is also a brand of "BEC1963" - presumably standing for Birmingham Education Committee 1963.
The top measures 3ft square, or for the youngsters among us, 91cm square.
In common with lots of school utility furniture, the wood appears to be a light coloured beech.
