This piece is a great example of honest, transparent use of materials. The high quality birch plywood construction exhibits the laminates of real wood giving a striped edge detail. The contour of the leg shape creates an unassuming but purposeful stance.
The Synk rectangular plywood coffee table shown has a top surface of Formica Infiniti in Denim Blue. The result is a silky smooth, super matte finish which is both durable and easy to clean. Other colours are available including simply plywood and no laminate.
The combination of plywood and laminate bring 1950s style into contemporary design.
