The 40mm thick solid wood top is hard wearing and ages gracefully. The finish has several generous coats of clear matte lacquer to protect the warmth and pattern of the grain.
A robust steel frame provides strong support and stability . This rigid arrangement of 50mm square heavy-gauge steel is coated with clear varnish to allow the dark-grey natural finish to show through.
